My new, favorite, most used kitchen appliance is the Instant Pot! I LOVE it!!! When you have food allergies or intolerance you know that preparing your own food is a necessity much of the time. Food preparation and cooking can be time consuming. But with this appliance you can cut down on your cooking time!
Did I say I love this appliance?? I do! I use it at least once a day and usually twice. Sometimes three times!
I never used a pressure cooker before as they worried me. This is an easy to use, automatic pressure cooker. It is also a slow cooker, rice cooker, yogurt maker and all kinds of things that I haven’t tried yet.
You can find recipes online for pressure cookers and I recently found Pressure Cooking Today which has some fun recipes. There is a Face Book group called InstaPot Users G-Bombs The Nuts and Bolts of Eating to Live which discusses vegan recipes and the use of the Instant Pot. Many in that group use and enjoy The New Fast Food Cookbook. These websites are not food allergy friendly but they do give ideas on how to use and what can be made in the Instant Pot. Once you get the hang of using it, you can adapt your own allergy free recipes for cooking with it.
I plan on doing exactly that! 🙂
