Super Easy Black Bean Burgers

These burgers are super easy to make and require just three ingredients (besides salt and pepper). I made them when I was in a hurry and didn’t want to take time to chop onion for my original black bean  and rice burger recipe.

Give them a try, they are yummy!

Recipe Notes

I cook and freeze short grain brown rice in 1/2 cup portions for use in this recipe. It makes it super easy to throw together these burgers. I also freeze the leftover canned pumpkin in ice cube trays. One cube is 2 tablespoons pumpkin so I defrost 2 cubes in the microwave on 50% power when I want to make this recipe. My recipe for short grain brown rice, made in the Instant Pot can be found here.
